What Causes Tongue Pain And Difficulty In Pronouncing Words Properly?

About 3 weeks ago while talking on the phone, my tongue had a hard time moving so I couldn’t get the words to form .. I quit my call and my tongue continued to ache.... I have never been a person who has had headaches, but now I’m getting sharp pains, at random time, they don’t last very long..at time, I’m unable to make out the words on the computer or reading, so I stop for 1/2 hour...I have been feeling nauseous near every day.....my mother had many mini strokes and we didn’t know about it until she had the bigger one that she never recovered mentally or physically. I’m wondering if any of these signs could be a warning of the possibility of mini strokes..

Tongue Pain as such are not any signs for Cardiac Problems like Mini Strokes as you mentioned. It could be something else like any neuralgia. Do you have any h/o lower tooth extraction or dental procedure before this problem started? I suggest you take a visit to nearest Dentist and also acquire opinion of a neurologist.
