What Causes Trachea Dysphagia?

Last night I swallowed a large pill and I think it went into my trachea. I ve gotten food stuck in my throat before, but this is a different feeling. I honestly feel as if it s in my trachea. I am still breathing and taking, and I was even seen by paramedics last night. Is it possible for this to happen? I have other medical problems including Lupus and I m very worried about this. Please help

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of swallowing a large pill, which you feel went into trachea, breathing and talking, have lupus.
My thoughts.
If a large pill gets into trachea, it becomes an emergency as you would have coughing and breathing distress.
Get an X-ray of the neck and chest done with Aerogram and you will find whether this pill is present or not.
Continue taking the treatment for lupus.
Also see a Neurologist to see if there lupus has affected any neurological stuff that is causing such problems.
