What Causes Tremors In The Torso And Hands While Suffering From RLS?
I am 39 and have always had shaky hands then I got diagnosed with RLS. Now my torso and hands, arms, shoulders are starting to have these tremors along with the jerky movements. We are talking life changing tremors and more than one drink spilled down the front of me jerking. Any idea what this could be?

What Causes Tremors In The Torso And Hands While Suffering From RLS?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Restless leg syndrome may not cause jerky movements unless it is caused by anxiety neurosis. It may be due to parkinsonism tremors or essential tremor or simple partial seizures or dystonia or Wilson s disease or alcohol withdrawal syndrome etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your neurophysician, he will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care.
