I had Trichomoniasis a few years ago. My boyfriend and I went to the gyno and she said it is a STD and can't be contracted any other way. I did not sleep with anyone else but my boyfriend and he was a virgin. I had been swimming a lot at that time. I was swimming in very dirty lake water and my aunt's pool that had chemicals that I had not had contact with before. I was also sitting in a wet bathing suit a lot. Could you please tell me how you think I contracted this because he still calls me a liar and a cheater all these years later. It affects my mental health because I did not sleep with anyone else.
