I am having difficulty if I come to urine. I have undergoes different lab treatment like X-ray, scaning, urine test all I was told by the doctor is that there is no problem only an excess protien that is contain on the urine and am still finding it difficult to excrete my urine out because I have to wait for some little time before it comes out. And I can t spend more than four hours with out filling to go for it and if I did t put it out it sound like it goes into my body. Thanks Gali Sani
Dear- thanks for your question. Urinary retention can be secondary to multiples reasons. Some medications can give you that, low water intake and dehydration too. Renal insufficiency secondary to hypertension and diabetes with an increase in the creatinine function and decrease in GFR or gromerular filtration rate, can produce a decrease in the urinary output. Neurogenic or "lazy" bladder ,which is common in diabetics, is another reason for this problem. Prostate enlargement in a male patient too. I advise you to have an urologist evaluation with a cystoscopy to have a better view of the problem. I hope that my advisse has been helpful Dr.JC
