What Causes Trouble Swallowing After Throat Stretching?
hello,I m 50 yrs old have had gerd for over 10yrs now.i m on medication for it.I had my throat stretched back in march 2014.Now it seems like it is hard to swallow my pills again and some foods.i m having upper scope the 21st again. but lately seems like I m having trouble to get food to the back of throat to swallow,just like I forgot how to swallow.Do u think it s because my muscles are getting weak??
Halo sir, if you experience difficulty in swallowing and if you are smoker(active/passive), better get upper GI endoscopy done. To avoid GERD make it routine, to get into the bed at least 2 hours after taking food. Avoid constipation as well.
