Hello, As the baby grows in size, the little flutters you experience during the early days give way to small kicks and turns as the baby swims in the amniotic fluid. If the baby has its back positioned over the cervix at a certain point of time, the impact is felt through the cervix and can be transmitted through the perineal floor. In fact, any pressure on the cervix can be felt in this manner. In addition, due to increased vascularity to the pelvic region, pulsations can often be felt of the local vessels. You can ask your consultant for an evaluation and a sonogram if you are in doubt. Hope this helps.
