What Causes Twitching Of Eyelids And Dilated Pupils?

My 11 yr old daughter hit her head about 20 mins ago and her eyelids started twitching straight away when she closes her eyes gently. Her pupils look slightly dilated but they dilate further and contract when looking away from/ to a light. The twitching has now stopped. Sould I bring her to a hospital? Thanks

Hi, I m Dr. Richa and I understand your concern. First of all You need to look for whether your complaint of dilating and constricting pupil equal in both eyes. Please don't worry if the pupils are equal in size. Pupils dilate and constrict in response to light in everyone. Mild transient flickering of eyes which has also stopped by itself should not be of concern. Take care.
