What Causes Twitching Sensation All Over The Body While Being Treated For Benign Fasciculation Syndrome?
I have been diagnosed with Benign fasciculation syndrome almost a year. A neurologist prescribed gabapentin and I ve been taking it almost 5 months. I take magnesium supplements daily especially before I sleep. This horrible twitchings are frustrating the hell out a me. It s also over my body. I can t sleep. I wake up exhausted and still have to go to work. I m seeing my family doctor tomorrow. Us there any other mediations she can prescribe to help me out. I ve already done all she suggested. I stopped smoking, sleeping med and have cut out all caffeine and a single improvement from day one. I wake up with calf cramps most nights.
As the neurologist prescription is correct and needs no modifications in it. Since you have cut down all the habits of the past, I will advise you to continue the neurologist prescription and regular exercises.
As most times the body heals on its own due to its own medicinal effects it's just a matter of the time which needs to work now. Be patient and continue the same you will find results.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
