What Causes Two Little Flaps Of Skin On Inside Of Mouth?
I have two little flaps of skin on the inside of my mouth. They are close to the opening of my mouth and I bite them occasionally. When I have my mouth rested, they sit beside my canines. Sometimes they swell up and hurt. They are in the same exact area on each cheek and Ive had them as long as I remember. Any ideas?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The two little flaps of skin inside the mouth can be a frictional keratosis secondary to chronic cheek biting or because of the sharp teeth. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. If there are sharp teeth then get enameloplasty done. Nothing to worry, its benign and harmless. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
