What Causes Two Red Lines Near To Ribs Area?

I have two red lines forming the apex of a triangle where the point is pointing to my breastfeeding bone and the downward links are I suppose where the ribs start to form. I have had a cough and flu in the last five days and today was my first aerobic training session and did some pressups. I am now a little worried?

Hi,

Most probably you are developing stretch marks..also called striae.

Do not worry,it is very common condition occuring on chest, shoulder, abdomen, buttock and thighs. Aerobic exercise might have induced it.

You may consult the dermatologist.

You may apply tretinoin gel of low strength 0.012% on the striae. Vitamin C tablet,Vitamin E and vitamin A cap may be taken for long time.

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
