What Causes Unclear Urine?

For over a week now I have gone to the bathroom to discover that my urine has been cloudy, has a weird odor, and now bloody. I have no idea what is going on. Internet sources say it could be UTI or some kind of bladder infection. I m pretty convinced that it is. What could it be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Though UTI is the most common reason for such presentation of urine, a differential diagnosis includes many renal conditions involving nephrotic syndrome, nephritic syndrome or else.
* A basic panel work up with urine microscopy via WBC, RBC, cast and proteinuria evaluation is the basic step to proceed for the definite diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
