What Causes Unconsciousness During Dialysis While Suspecting A Heart Attack?

My cousin was rushed to the hospital, he has had Diabetes for over 20 years, lost part of his leg. Has been on antiboitics for over 2 months due to an infection in his toe. He began to swell up was taken to the hospital, they suspected he d suffered a heart attack. Currently he is receiving dialysis, but he appears to be unconscious yet he responds to questions, is he in an induced coma?

since he s diabetic he have less immunity
since he had a injury to his limb it won't heal as quick as normal person
since he s on antibiotic looks like his wound s infected
as in history his limb swells up it shows patient injury caused cellulitis so he need admission and treatment
It may go for septic shock if untreated.
