What Causes Unexplained Burnt Marks On Feet?
i had several burn like marks on my feet and thought I was exposed to poison sumac. It took several weeks for them to go away. Since then it has been months and i am randomly getting single burn looking marks on various parts of my body. They feel like a burn and last for weeks but only one at a time and random. The areas have been 1 on my lower back, and 2 on my left arm. They are dark like a burn would be, about 1/4 inch wide and 1 in long.

Hi. It could be due to contact dermatitis to poison ivy or insect fluid (pederus group). To avoid it, use insect repellents. In case you get it, apply a mild potent steroid and moisturizer for couple of days and you would be ok. Hope it answers your queries
