What Causes Unwanted Erection Of Penis?

I am male and I had an unwanted erection in front of a female ultra sound tech while testing the location of my pubic area. I am in my late 50's and I am embarrassed I couldn't control myself. The tech patted me and said not to worry that this was normal. Is this a natural physical response or did I lose control because the tech I observed to be young and pretty?

Please understand, erection happens due to three states. One due to sexual arousal, two due to controlled urine and three due to anxiety. You had an anxiety related erection.
