I have pain in my upper middle abdomen. It comes in waves, and feels like my stomach is dropping but is also a bit sharp. It s moved from lower abdominal pain yesterday and I was really gassy. I don t have a fever and haven t thrown up. I also haven t had any diarrhea.
Hi. This type of pain without much other symptoms can be due to intestinal obstruction or Pancreatitis or colitis. Get the blood tests including amylase and lipase. Ultrasonography CT scan to confirm. The simplest is to get an X-ray of the abdomen in standing position for intestinal obstruction. One has to try to find the original cause of the pain. like Tuberculosis and so.
