What Causes Upper Chest Pain While Taking Deep Breath?
Hello from Alaska! I have this ache on/in my left upper chest. It comes and goes primarily in the mornings and evenings when I m laying down in bed. It seems to wrap around my back below my shoulder blade sometimes and I breathe deeper it hurts a little more?

chest pain have variety of causes like
costochondritis
pleural effusion
lung related
cardiac
gastritis
in my patients i usually go for some investigations like chest xray , ecg , an endoscopy of needed
you need to consult a pulmonologist and disscuss these modalities
i usually start my patients on proton pump inhibitors
