What Causes Urination Pain After Sexual Intercourse?

I have been having sex since Thursday and today (Sunday) i experienced pain before and during peeing, and it comes out in small amounts. Do I have a urinary tract infection or gonorrhea? I am travelling and healthcare is so expensive in the states. Where should I go for treatment?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of acute urinary tract infection. It can be gonorrhea as well if sexual history present.

I suggest you investigate with urine routine microscopic examination and culture for primary work up. Drink lots of water.

According to the culture report, specific antibiotic needs to be started. Until than cephalosporin group of the drug can be prescribed.

You can Consult a nearby physician for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
