What Causes Urine Odor From My Child S Vagina In Spite Of Cleaning?

I just noticed today when bathing my 1 year old baby, her vagina has a bad smell of urine even after washing it and when I parted her vagina lips to clean i noticed brownishness at the bottom of her clit. Is this normal? Is part of her vagina supposed to be brownish?

Hi,

If there is no active discharge or itching, nothing to be worried about. Some odour is normal from vagina. Yes, part of vulva surrounding clitoris can be darker comparatively.
