What Causes Vaginal Area Discomfort With Pain And Pungent Urine?

I have been having discomfort in the area I used to feel when I ovulated. I have not ovulated for over 5 years, I m 58 yrs. old. The pain has been coming more often, and lasting longer. Today has been the worst so far. I am also experiencing very pungent urine and feeling lethargic.....and ideas?
