Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
Your tablet contains medicine called as
Duloxetine.
It is taken care by your
liver and also the birth control pills are metabolised in liver.
So there is interference with the activity of birth control pills.
I will suggest you not to skip your birth control pills.
Please discuss this issue with the doctor with whom you are taking
Cymbalta. Also,, I will suggest you to take tablets containing
Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic as needed to control the bleeding..
If needed please ask your partner to use barrier
contraceptive like Condom.
Please also discuss with your treating Gynecologist about use of birth control pills.
Usually, birth control pills are taken as 21 days on tablets and then restart the new pack after a gap of 7 days.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
