Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 5 yr old daughter has light vaginal bleeding after urinating. No burning or other discharge or signs of infection. No pain or physical abuse. She had surgery on 01-13-15 for an umbilical hernia. Is this normal and when and should I be most concerned
Hi...By what you quote as there is painless or effortless bleeding - so I would like to consider the possibilities of - 1. Cystitis - inflammation of the urinary baldder 2. Renal colic - stones in the urinary tract. 3. I feel this is unrelated to the surgery she underwent. Regards - Dr. Sumanth
