Following that, it will cause withdrawal bleeding in the form of periods within 3 weeks from the day of its intake, which confirms that pregnancy has not happened. Your partner has done the same and she has got bleeding after a week, which is normal and nothing to worry about. Itching sensation what she is experiencing could be due to mild infection. She can use a vaginal wash such as V wash to clean the area and keep it in hygienic condition.
