What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Before Taking Misoprostol Tablet?

My wife is 37 days from last menstrual date ..she took unwanted kit..she has taken mifepristone 200 mg yesterday evening 6 o clock that is now 24+6= 30 hours elapsed...she is now complaining of vaginal bleeding ...she has not taken misoprostol tab yet...any thing going wrong..??

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that you should continue using other four misoprstole tablets as the bleeding she is experiencing is because the process of abortion started and now the misoprostol tabs should be used within 36-48 hours after mifepristone to complete the process of abortion.

i would also like to suggest that there will be bleeding for some days depending upon the age of the aborted fetus and it's size. But if the bleeding still continues to go on, visit your Obgy doctor as soon as possible.
