What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse?

Well, the last time I had sex, we stopped and We both noticed that I was dripping blood. It did not hurt whatsoever, if we hadn t stopped then we never would ve noticed. I thought that maybe my period had come early but the next morning I noticed nothing was on the tampon. I bled a little the next day and I just noticed that I have a little bump on my urethral orifice & I touched it with a qtip and it was bleeding. So I figured that was what had been bleeding. My question is: what is this bump? I ve only been with one guy and we have used condoms each time. I m a little worried though anyway because this has never happened?

I have gone through the query and understood your concern. According to your description it appears as though you have bled from the urethral swelling. You need to have a local examination performed by a specialist to locate the source of the bleeding. If there is any inflammation or a polyp or caruncle, it needs to be removed. A pap smear, vaginal and cervical swabs and urinalysis are also done. Please abstain from further intercourse until you are completely healed. Your partner also may be tested and treated if necessary. Hope this helps.
