I am 6 months pregnant and have had some bleeding off and on for the last 2 months...my dr says there shouldnt be any need to worry as long as I am feeling the baby move 10 times an hour and am having no pain. Thing is is the bleeding can last 10 minutes or sometimes all day. Sometimes enough to where I have to use a pantiliner. I drink plenty of water and tea occassionally. Not a big soda fan so Im still up in the air. Please help!!
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the bleeding during pregnancy might be due to hormonal abnormalities like thyroid abnormalities, progesterone insufficiency or cervical bleeding like polyp, erosion etc or low lying placenta or for unknown reasons. If the hormones and ultrasound and the fetal movements are normal you need not worry. It might be cervical bleeding.Take iron rich food and iron supplements to counteract anaemia due to blood loss.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Dont worry. These type of cases also proceed till term with good outcome.
