What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Dronis?

hii, I have taken dronis 20 in july month and had it only 12 tablets then after 4 days i had bleeding that had last for 2 days and till now iam not having any dronis 20 because iam waiting for my period to start. can u pls tell me the reason of not having periods.

Dronis 20 kit contains Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol as active ingredients. It is used for birth control. Amenorrhea is one of the common side effect of Dronis. When you take such contraceptives for the first time, it might cause intermittent bleeding during first 3 months. Kindly continue the pills as per the schedule. If the symptoms continues even after 3 months or becomes bothersome, seek medical attention by consulting Obstetrician promptly.
