What Causes Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

Hi, Im 28 years old, weigh 160 and I'm 32 weeks pregnant.

I started noticing a cottage cheese looking discharge, and lots of wetness in my underwear. And its the same everytime I go to use the restroom (every 5 min)I have to change my underwear everytime. And it has a sweet smell. Is there a way to tell if Im leaking amneotic fluid?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing.
Excessive discharge us common in pregnancy. The cottage cheesy discharge is suggestive of fungal infection. Due to vaginal ph changes in pregnancy because of hormones this is very common.
Please visit a doctor for a pelvic exam. There are tests to check whether you are leaking amniotic fluid. If negative then you will ne screened for infection and treatment given accordingly.
Thanks
