What Causes Vaginal Dryness After Having Norethisterone?
after 3 months of iui treatment doctor asked me to remain without any medication for one cycle.i didnot get my periods in this cycle.i went to dotor he gave me northesterone.i am taking it for ten days thrice a day.now i am suffering from vaginal dryness n feeling discomfort bcoz of it
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Taking norethisterone tablet will cause some side effects like headache, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, nausea, weight changes, feeling sick, vaginal dryness, irregular menstrual periods and lack of sex drive. Since it is only for a short duration of 10 days, you need to bear it. If it is causing discomfort, you can use moisturizer cream or lotion for local application. Heep yourself well hydrated. You will get better once you are done with the medications. All the best.
