What Causes Vaginal Itching And Discomfort?

Hi, for quite a few months now my vaginal has been very itchy and always feels uncomfortable with underwear. About 3 days ago, I barely noticed this pimple in front my clitoris and just redness around it as well. I occasionally get pimples on my vagina too. It s itchy and I do get discharge but it s not a weird color. The last time I had sex was about a year ago and I used protection, I haven t been checked for any std s but when I did get a regular urine check they told me they did find some bacteria but that it was nothing serious. Any ideas what my problem can be?

Hi,

Most of the women in your age group will go through this type of vaginal itching n discomfort. So, NOTHING TO WORRY. You also told me that you are having discharge with pimples on your vagina and clitoris area. it indicates that you are having infection in your vaginal and clitoral region.

This infection mostly occurs by bacteria or fungi or by both. For this type of problem I am usually prescribing the combinations of drugs, which contains both antibacterial and antifungal drugs. Along with this, patients should take some precautions like- to wear cotton undergarments, drink plenty of water n keep regular hygiene of vagina and clitoris and other external private parts, and safer sex.

Any type of carelessness in above precaution will causes infection in private parts like vagina, clitoris, with above information you can try out my suggestions also:

. RELAX, TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND KICK OUT THE TENSION FROM UR MIND. It happens with most of the women and it does have a solution.

2. Take seriously the above precautions, that I discussed above. so that you won't suffer from this discomfort again.

3. If you are still worried then visit your nearby gynecologist, he/she can help you.

I hope above information are informative enough, useful and helpful for you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sudha Rani Panagar
