What Causes Vaginal Itching?
Hi, Ive been having vaginal itchiness for about 2 weeks. when i have the itchiness it is intense. Its gotten to a point where i may end up bleeding...I have some swelling on the outside of my vagina..the wall/ "lips" and it is very red. Its also starting to have an odor. Any suggestions before i can see my gyno (about 2 weeks)?

I understand your concern.
From your symptoms, you seem to have fungal infection. It is typically accompanied by white discharge& itching. In some patients( where husband is primarily infected) white discharge may be absent Both sex partners need treatment to eradicate it.
I usually give tab . Flucanozole to both the partners with local application of cream/ vaginal tablets.Abstinence till it is cured.
