Hello,
I am going to be 21 years old in 5 months. I would like your advice on a problem. The thing is, I am unable to insert tampons into my vagina. I have tried to do it many times but it never gets into my body, not even partially. I don't really feel that much pain when I do it; it feels more like there's a barrier there which won't let anything in; even the head tip of the tampon cannot go in. Even when I try to relax my muscles, the problem persists. I would have thought that by now the problem would go away since I am in my early 20s, but it hasn't. This problem also showed itself when my ex-boyfriend and I tried having sexual intercourse, 6 months ago. We tried a number of times but it was the same problem; not even the tip of his penis would go in. I am worried about this; could there be something wrong with my vaginal opening? My menstrual flow seems to be well distributed on my pads, so if blood can come out so widely, how is it that nothing can go in?
Thanks very much,Rini
