What Causes Vaginal Pain After Intercourse During Pregnancy?
Im 30 weeks pregnant with my second and it seems like everytime I have sex with my partner my vagina has a burning sensation after. Its not painful during sex or foreplay but after its hard to stand and even sit. It feels like its swollen and really tender I have also had severe lower back and butt pain. It seems worse on my left side and doesn t fade away no matter what I do. I know being pregnant im supposed to lay on my left but the pain is so unbearable I just cant. Last week I was checked for a uti and yeast infections. Both came back negative but they treated me for yeast anyway because there was a white substance when they did the internal. I had none of these issues with my first so im scared. Please give me dome insight.

there is increased blood supply to all genital organs in pregnancy
progesterone is dominant hormone in pregnancy it does not provide lubrication as in normal state
infection can be a cause,if there is a foul smelling discharge
since you are treated for infection it should not be a cause of worry
but repeated intercourse increases chance of infection
it ia advisabae to wash the vaginal are well before and after intercourse
