What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Unprotected Intercourse?
I was asked to take Meprate 10mg, twice a day for 5 days for delayed irregular periods. After finishing the course of meprate, (2 days after the last tablet) I had unprotected sex. I now have only spotting (5 days after last tablet) instead of regular bleeding. Do you think I might be pregnant?
Hello dear I understand your concern Chance of pregnancy is less as you did sex in the safe period of the cycle and that time no ovum is released so no fertilization occur. I think it is breakthrough bleeding due progesterone withdrawal effect. Progesterone support the endometrium and promote the growth, Once you stop the tablet bleeding will occur. So do not worry, pregnancy is not there. It is just withdrawal bleeding. Your period will come next 2-3 days Avoid stress, take healthy diet and do regular exercise Hope this may help you
