What Causes Vaginal Spotting During 8 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I m about 8 weeks pregnant and experiencing spotting for about 8 hours today. I had sexual intercourse last night and have been told spotting is normal. Should I be concerned? Should I go to the emergency room. No significant cramping or other issues.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Spotting in early pregnancy can be due to :
1. Threatened abortion
2. Bleeding around the fetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
3. Due to local lesions in the vaginal or cervix
4. Due to intercourse.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
