I started my periods on 17/12/15 and m still spotting though its not too much.is there a reason to worry?
Hi Thanks for the query to HCM. Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( PCOD or pcos i.e syndrome ) is often caused by hormone changes. The symptoms and signs are : Acne , obesity , scanty menstruation , irregular menstruation , dysfunctional bleeding , hirsutism . As I mentioned above these are very common symptoms . Femilon is birth control pill . Using birth control pills can sometimes help regulate hormone levels so that cysts can be taken care of . So in your case this is right medicine and spotting is not unusual so need not to worry . Get in blood examination regularly for hemoglobin level . Hope this information will be useful for you. Further if any question I will reply happily. Good luck.
