Hi, I am experiencing a pinkish discharges or blood spotting. I went to the Dr. of Ob-gyne for pap test and she found little bit scratch in my cervix. while waiting for the pap test result she gave me Albothyl suppository 3 times in every other night. In this case,is it possible to have a cervical cancer?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Blood spotting can be due to local lesions i the cervix or vagina, including cancer cervix. Pap smear will be helping in the diagnosis, however if pap test is negative, you should undergo colposcopy and guided biopsy, if required to confirm the diagnosis. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Regards, Dr Neeraj Kumar
