What Causes Varying CA125in A Cervical Cancer Patient?

I am a Cervical Cancer patient who has been following her CA125 number.. I had been making strides through chemo (Topotican and Carbo Platinum day one, then just one of them 2 days, then Nuelasta). My CA125 started at 1975 back in May and got down to 25 two weeks ago. Now it is at 86. Very frustrating... Any thoughts as to why? Age 40, 5'8", 160lbs. Seconday lymphedema due to radiation last year. No previous other illnesses outside of fibroids.

The raised CA 125 may be due to cnacer involving peritoneum or ovaries, or more commonly due to fibroid or lymphedema. So, first get MRI scan done and if abnormal then PET scan. Please remember CA 125 is very nonspecific, it may rise in different conditions apart from cancer.
