What Causes Vertigo After Removing Fluid From The Ears?

Hi....I am a 64 year old woman . I have been very healthy overall. This year I tried to remove water from my ear...exactly the same way the nurse did. I woke up with vertigo. It was horrible. It went away in a few days. That was several months ago. I found myself dizzy during last night. Why would this happen again?

Hello,
Vertigo has many causes but anyone may get it at any time. it often has to do with medications or a disruption of the otoliths (small stones in the inner ear).
If it does not go away in a few days, see your doctor.
Regards
