Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes I had the same syptoms two years ago as I did earlier this week. Dr. Brown in Odessa said it was Vertigo. Is there a vitamin I am lacking. I will be 63 years old July. I know it is said it comes with age but I have been losing my hearing a lot longer about 6 years gradually and did see a Dr. At that time for testing. He made a remark after my test that I was legally death. I have noticed I have problems with certain sounds through out this years. I work at a school and some kids might tell me the same thing but I do not hear the whole thing from both. Different voice sounds! Question is it a lack of vitamins for vertigo.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
To be very honest , if there is feeling of vertigo and decreased hearing in an ear, this would not be something like vitamin deficiency. It cannot be explained on vitamin deficiency , rather looks like disease of the internal ear. I would advise you should see an ENT specialist ,( the one who is expert in diseases) for proper assessment and management.
Hope I have answered your query.
