What Causes Vertigo Post A Tragus Piercing?

Hi, my tragus piercing has recently got quite swollen. Last night when i lay down in my bed I had vertigo. I ignored it and went to sleep thinking it was just exhaustion. However, every time I sit up I have vertigo. Could it be related to my tragus or something entirely different?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, vertigo has no relation with tragus, if it is associated with change of position then it might be due to inner ear pathology, please visit an Ent specialist for right diagnosis, you will be asked to undergo few simple tests, meantime do avoid sudden change of position, take care.
