What Causes Very Light Brown Periods?

HI. I ddnt have period last december 2013 like from nov 12 I only got it again jan 2 so basically its quitelong. Now since february im havng brown blood but this march I only got brown blood which lasted for a day and ddnt even fill my pad.what does that mean

Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

As you are complaining of brownish discharge, nothing serious about it, which means your period flow is slow. Fresh blood is red in color, once they comes in contact with air, they become brown Color, which is absolutely normal.

It may also be due to 1.vigorous sex 2. ovulation 3. an outcome of your impending periods coming in few days around.

I advice you to have nutritious diet, iron supplements, also to check your Hemoglobin level & Thyroid function test.
