What Causes Very Light Periods?

Hello! I need advice. My last period was 2 weeks late. Had blood work done n was neg. Now this cycle was 2 days early lasted 3days weird thing though it was light pink and was only there when i wiped never got on my undies i took a tesr yest n it was neg whats going on??
