What Causes Very Small Yolk Sac In 7th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctor I had previous ectopic pregnancy now after 3 months again pregnant 7 weeks around week 6 I had bronwish spotting it turn red only one day then again brownish my doc give me folicum duphaston nd after bleeding he gave me cyclogist twice a day nd we did scan at week 7 but he said yolk sac verry small nd she can t see baby so now she said wait till week eight will do scan again

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion by 6 weeks a well formed yolk sac with fetal pole should be visible.As it is small we can wait upto 8 to 9 weeks and repeat the scan.So dont worry continue the same medicines.Take adequate rest and avoid physical strain and mental stress.
