What Causes Vibrating Feeling On Left Side Of Neck?

I have been having a strong vibrating or pulsing feeling on the left side of my neck. It is on and off but sometimes happens several times in an hour. It lasts anywhere from 5-20 seconds. I can feel it when I touch my neck and I feel like I can hear a sound. Should I be concerned about it?

Hello,

Vibrating feeling on the left side of the neck is commonly due to Neurological disorders, Spondylosis, MS, Torticollis or essential tremors. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurologist, get all blood & Imaging tests done. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
