What Causes Vibration Sensation In Brain And Ringing In Ears?

the other night i was lay in bed trying to sleep. All of a sudden my brain felt it was vibrating violently (think of one of those vibrating exercise plates) and there was alot of pressure and my hearing turned to a loud ringing sound. i thought i was dying by the time i had thought that it was over.
