What Causes Visible Vein On Penis That Runs Directly Up The Shaft?
Hi, I am a 22 year old man and I am fairly sexually active. For as long as I can remember I have had what looks like a large vein on the left hand side of my penis that runs directly up the shaft under the foreskin and stops about 3/4 of the way up where it meets a rounded sort of lump. The lump is curled round not so that it is circular but that sort of shape but I m quite sure it s attached to the vein. It s fairly soft and can be moved around. I thought nothing of it when I first saw it several years ago but I had thought what it might of been the other day and with a bit of research on the Internet I can only assume that it is a blood clot, and possibly the dorsal vein.. However it does not hurt in any way neither when having sex or when flaccid and when its touched, this is why I haven t done anything until now. I have read a few things on the Internet though which has got me worrying. I sometimes get short of breath and my chest sometimes hurt a long with sharp pains in the bladder sort of area but I m also stressed and think that those things could have something to do with that. Any sort of opinion on what it could be would be much appreciated. Thanks
