I have recently lost my vision in my right eye. I just woke up one morning with a bunch of little black dots that seemed to just float. the next day, my vision was completely blocked out. now, 4 days later I can make out blurry images but I cant focus anything , no peripheral.... and very sencitive to light.what should I do....?
Your history is suggestive of a retinal detachment occurring after a tear in the retina i.e. the rhegmatogenous variant. This requires an immediate visit to a retina specialist and will most probably require a surgery for correction. The prognosis is good as long as the surgery is done early.
