Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your history is suggestive of a retinal detachment occurring after a tear in the retina i.e. the rhegmatogenous variant. This requires an immediate visit to a retina specialist and will most probably require a surgery for correction. The prognosis is good as long as the surgery is done early.

Hope I have answered your query.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
