What Causes Visual Hallucinations While On Tramadol?
my father is 89, has terminal cancer with stage 3 renal failure. He has been taking tramadol twice per day for pain. Now 3 days later he is seeing quiet birds flying in the house and spiders on the floor. Could this be related to the tramadol. I do realize this is a difficult question.

Yes, tramadol can cause this problem in some patients. Let his doctor know as soon as possible so that they can change the medication if they think that is the problem
