What Causes Vomited Food To Smell Like Wine, Brown In Colour?

My 5 year old compained of stomach ache last night and after going to bed vomited twice. The vomit smelt like wine, was brown and had lots of undigested food in it. Today she seemed fine though said her throat hurt. Tonight she has vomited again after going to bed and it is the same brown colour and wine smell with undigested food. It is the smell that bothers me most as it is very peculiar. Being a mum of two with an alcoholic ex husband I know what vomit smells like and this smells peculiar, like wine. And no, there is no alcolhol kept on premises.

* This seems to be heavy intestine infection .
* Though primary relief can be there with anti emetic ( as ondancetron ) ,
I would strongly recommend to visit his Pediatrician for proper line of
management .

Wishing your toddler fine recovery .
